ABOUT US
LISTEN:
Neftali Santiago, legendary drummer from the group "Mandrill" spent 30 yrs with the band before departing in 2005. He went on to be awarded 2 double platinum albums, and 4 gold albums for his songwriting and performances. In addition to his professional career he is a youth leader at the Valley Vineyard.

Neftali: "I felt Reseda 100 was a great opportunity to give the city songs as a gift. "Happy Birthday Reseda" is our anthem song. It brings us all together including councilmen Zine. I wrote " Reseda Is Our Town " after being inspired by our lead singer Joanna O'Connor's voice and the fact I take pride in being from Reseda. The third song is "Respect For Our City". It's all about keeping our city clean. I called on the youth in our church to perform these very special songs for our cities celebration On September 29th. LISTEN, the band was formed just for "Reseda 100" and "An Evening With Manna" on October 6th the following weekend at the Valley Vineyard.

I chose this group of teens because they have heart and a willingness to serve others. Our lead singer Joanna O'connor has an exceptional voice. Judah Hogan is the groups front teen. He has truly been touched by God with talent. His rap and moves will have you on your feet and dancing. Luke Irving our bass player is the backbone of the band while Johnny Mendoza threads it all together with his rhythm guitar. Grace Smith and Rachel Fassnacht have a great vocal blend. Their vocals and energy inspire us all. Steven is our drummer-in-training and is coming along great! He has the heart of a lion. Ryan Tucker is our power guitarist sparking the band with electricity.

All this talent is coming from The Valley Vineyard Church. Under the guidance of youth pastor Dan Keenan I am able to mentor and direct the group in ways not possible without Gods intervention. God wants to do great things with young people in the community now, not tomorrow or next year. Passing on the knowledge of performing and recording music the way it was done in the 60s and 70s to a new generation of performers is a great feeling". To work with kids that love God and their community is beyond words.
